Help get Wes elected to Parliament.

I'm standing as an independent to be the MP for Mansfield on July 4th because I want to help lead my hometown to a brighter future. Like many ex-mining towns, Mansfield has suffered at the hands of a government who do not care. Mansfield is a poor area and the quality of life is generally low. But having been born and raised in the town, I know we have huge potential. We can do so much more.

Mansfield Deserves Better. Every young person in Mansfield deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Every resident deserves to enjoy a high quality of life, and Mansfield deserves a town centre that isn't falling to pieces. We need an MP who will build up new industries in the town, whilst also holding parliament to account.

I know what it's like to grow up poor in Mansfield. My father sold drugs for money and left when I was a baby. I was raised by a single mother, on Westfield Lane, and we survived on benefits. It was not always easy, but this is the type of reality faced by far too many young people in Mansfield, and we can do better. Mansfield Deserves Better.

Despite a tough start in life, the people of Mansfield took me in. Teachers, church members and others encouraged me and gave me hope. With their help, I was able to go to university, to learn to sing, act and play music, to learn about the world, and to become a successful stage performer in the West End.

My campaign started from nothing. No money, no resources, only me and a few Mansfield residents bold enough to dream.

Help us bridge the gap against the rich, powerful parties. Your donation will help pay our deposit, for flyers, advertisements, everything that's needed for an effective, modern campaign. More importantly, it will fund a candidate who is willing to speak out against a two-party system that isn't working.
