Help victims of Fiona in the D.R. (Higuey City)

Hi, my name is Holly Richardson, and I am raising funds to help the people of the Dominican Republic affected by Hurricane Fiona. Specifically, my husband, Jose Manuel Perez Morel and his extended family and friends. All money raised will be used exclusively to purchase food and get it immediately to those in need, and secondly, to help rebuild homes and businesses. I will also be collecting new or gently used clothing. All funds will be deposited into a US account in my name, then transferred to our shared account in the DR and used to buy food and materials for homes and businesses.

This effort is so significant to me. I am from New York, living in Connecticut, and my husband and his family are from Higuey, D.R. Higuey was hit hard by the hurricane, leaving people's homes and businesses underwater and damaged by the high winds and nonstop rain. Higuey is my second home, and seeing the devastation that Fiona left behind is heartbreaking, and I hope that I can help rebuild and support the beautiful people who have always welcomed me with open arms and love.
