Enduring Freedom Army Veteran, Dan O'Herron, was traveling with his fiance to Columbus, Ohio, Dan went into cardiac arrest. He turned blue and was unconscious. His fiance, Suzi Saunders, began beating on his chest while she dialed 911. After what seemed like an eternity, Dan took a deep breath but was still unconscious. Suzi continued to do sternal rubs while 911 directed her to a location where they could meet an ambulance. He was transported to a hospital in Marion where they were able to read his implanted heart monitor that said his heart had stopped for 11 seconds, in addition to many other stoppages of lesser lengths. He was transferred to Toledo Hospital for pacemaker implantation. He was discharged the next day because his VA medical insurance refused to approve the pacemaker.
After they got to their new house that they are moving into, they discovered that someone had broke into it while they were in the hospital. They decided to check on the cottage in Michigan. On the way home, they hit a deer and totalled their van.
They found out that the insurance appeal could take weeks, possibly months, and there is no guarantee that the insurance will approve the procedure.
PLEASE help us raise enough money to let Danny get the pacemaker. Their toddler, Eyler, knows that something is wrong with his daddy and won't let him go far from him. Please let him have many more years with his daddy by donating to this cause. If all of their friends and family donate just $5 to $10, then we can get it done.
People who know me, know that I NEVER ask for money. This is a desperate situation that calls for desperate measures. Please help as much as possible.
