Hi, my name is Veronica, and I’m a single mother of three children who are my entire world. Every decision I make is for them and for the future I’m working so hard to give them.
I’m currently a full-time student studying to become a Radiology Technician, while also working part-time to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. Balancing school, work, and motherhood hasn’t been easy, but I’ve stayed focused because I believe education is the path to stability and a better life for my kids.
I’m now entering the final and most important part of my program—a required three-month externship. This externship is unpaid but necessary for me to graduate and begin a career that will finally allow me to provide consistently for my family. During this time, I won’t be able to work enough to support my children on my own, and the fear of falling behind on basic necessities weighs heavily on me.
To make things even more challenging, my car—the only way I’m able to get to my externship, take my children where they need to go, and handle daily responsibilities—is starting to break down. I’m doing everything I can and hoping it holds up through these next three months, but the uncertainty adds even more stress during an already difficult time.
As a mother, asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I’m a hardworking woman who has always tried to figure things out on my own, but right now I need support to get through this final stretch. The funds raised will help cover essentials like rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and keeping us afloat while I complete my externship.
If you’re able to donate or even share this page, please know that you’re not just helping me—you’re helping three children whose mom is doing everything she can to give them stability, security, and hope. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, supporting, and believing in us.
