In Middle School, I was blessed with a mentor who was a UVA student. She taught me as long as I worked hard and was true to myself, anything is possible. I began dreaming of attending UVA one day,  but I never really believed her until I got that letter that said I was in! After completing two years at PVCC, this year, I'm beginning a bachelor's program in Speech-Language Pathology. 

Thanks to the generosity of the Charlottesville Scholarship Program and my employer, I received a partial scholarship to offset the costs of attendance. However, because of my family's visa, I'm not eligible for federal student aid. I'll need help with my fall tuition. 

And that's where you come in! Can you please chip in to help me make my dreams a reality? I will be so grateful to all of you when I walk the Lawn in 2020.
