Help Vagabond Clothing

On May 31st, 2020, my friend James Horan's store, Vagabond Clothing was vandalized just two days after he reopened from the forced shutdown of 10 weeks due to COVID-19.  As if the shutdown wasn't enough, now windows and doors are smashed and contents looted. These two events coupled with the slow winter months have created a perfect storm for financial devastation.  

Anyone that knows James Horan knows that he is the last one to ask for help but the first one to offer it.  I'm here to tell you as his friend that he needs us now.
The business has hit a wall! Let's help Vagabond bridge this gap and get back to normal business!

Vagabond has been a go to store for the last 18 years here in Syracuse and has garnered customers from all over the country, with fashionable designer clothing for men and women at exceptional prices. Besides being a driven business owner, James gives back in so many ways as he volunteers in the community on numerous Boards and non-profit organizations like Red House, Great Lakes Guitar Society and Syracuse Friends of Chamber as well as being a great friend to the Guitar League and a strong sponsor of local art and music. You may even catch him washing his business neighbors windows on Walton Street in downtown Syracuse. That's James Horan.

I would also like to say what a dedicated father he is to his children and how much I've always respected him and the integrity he has lived his life with. He has used his talents and craft to help so many and now is the time we can help him. I know he would never ask on his own for help with his business... so I am honored to ask for him. 

In closing, I would like to share just one of the several messages James has received from his friends:

"This is a real moment, take a pause and then grab it for real. James Horan is a man who has sponsored our non profit events, dressed our homeless youth for job interviews and Pride prom, given his musical talent to draw awareness and raise money for others who needed it. If you stand against “bad cops, white supremacy and corporate greed” you got the wrong guy. This was a prime example of burning down your own house.
