Help Us Travel to Hawaii to Prepare Jessie's Home for Sale

Hello Friends and Family,

My name is Juliana Reynolds, and I have been Jessie's full-time caregiver and legal agent for several years. I also serve as her Durable Power of Attorney.

Today, I am asking for help with a very specific and important need: making a temporary trip to Hawaii so we can prepare Jessie's home for sale.

Jessie is 76 years old and currently lives with me in Utah, where I help care for her daily needs and assist with managing her affairs. While Hawaii will always hold a special place in our hearts, this trip is not a vacation and it is not a move back to Hawaii. We will be traveling there for one purpose: preparing Jessie's home for sale.

Before the property can be listed, there is a tremendous amount of work that must be completed. Our goal is to make this temporary trip in August 2026 so we can begin preparing the property for listing as soon as possible. We expect to spend approximately two to three weeks sorting belongings, packing, cleaning, organizing, making disposal runs, and completing the many tasks necessary to prepare the home for the market.

Selling the property is an important step toward protecting one of Jessie's most valuable assets and helping provide financial security for her future needs.

Each month the property remains unprepared for sale, ongoing ownership expenses continue to accumulate. Unfortunately, the expenses associated with making this trip must be paid now, before the home can be sold. With airfare prices continuing to rise and the costs of travel continuing to increase, we simply cannot make this trip alone and are asking for help to make it possible.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help cover the expenses associated with this temporary property-preparation trip, including:

✈️ Round-trip airfare for Jessie and her caregiver

- Checked baggage fees and other travel-related expenses

- Transportation while in Hawaii

- Packing materials, boxes, and moving supplies

- Cleaning supplies and property-preparation expenses

- Disposal and cleanup costs

- Other expenses directly related to preparing the property for sale
