Update: after additional discussion with the family, we determined that it is more realistic to fly me to China than it is to fly the rest of the family to the U.S. and have them stay here for a prolonged period of time. Hence, we are reducing our goal amount significantly.

My name is Jerry Liang. Last Thursday, I started the #FindChrisLiang campaign to find my missing brother. The campaign activated many who searched for him and prayed for his safety along our quest to find Chris. Unfortunately, we discovered that he has tragically passed away in a car accident. We are starting this GoFundMe to honor his life and handle his legacy.

 

Chris had an incredibly challenging upbringing, but it didn’t stop him from being himself. He loved and shared his truth with others wholeheartedly and unapologetically. Unfortunately, he died at a young age before he could see the love and truth he sent out in the world come back to him. My heart shatters and goes up in flames for what could have been.

 

My parents and sister reside in China, and because of the pandemic, my brother died having not seen them in person since 2019. In addition to funeral and legal costs, we hope to raise money to fly me to China to reunite with them.
