My brother was the kindest soul you could ever meet. He would give away his last penny if he thought it would help someone else — and many times, he did. He lived his life putting others first, always helping, always giving.
Even in death, he continued that generosity: he saved two lives by donating his kidneys.
Sadly, because he gave so much in life, there’s nothing left to cover the cost of his funeral. We’re heartbroken, not only by his loss, but by the thought of not being able to give him the send-off he truly deserves. Instead of flowers, because there will be nowhere to put them after.
We're planning on having Shon at the chapel of rest in Llandudno Junction for a few days so people can go and see him if they'd like to before he's cremated. After this we're going to arrange for a wake in his favourite pub in Abergele.
We’re reaching out to ask for your help. If you can donate anything at all — no matter how small — it will go directly toward funeral expenses to honour a man who never asked for anything but gave so much.
Please help us say goodbye to our brother, father, a hero, a kind and beautiful soul.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
