Help Stabilize Wool & Honey, Bee Well & Daughter's

I’ve worked very hard to shed my ego and become comfortable with the uncomfortable. Some of you know and some of you wonder, so here’s an update.

Three years ago, our daughter was diagnosed with cancer (and she is doing wonderfully—no emergency there), but it has been a long, traumatic journey for our whole family. We’ve faced life-changing, dark times that are ever-present. Another huge trauma was losing my best friend, and my daughter lost hers, too, at a time when we needed our people most. All four of us have been struggling emotionally and mentally—anxiety, depression, abandonment, and triggers. Our reactions haven’t always been the healthiest, and it’s taken us a long time to start climbing out of that hole.

On top of the emotional toll, we’ve faced legal battles and extraordinary expenses—things no one ever budgets for or could even imagine. With wounds constantly reopening and no time to heal before another blow comes, our family has become divided. I’m going through immense heartache--moving on without the love of my life. Cecily & Felicity's mom and dad no longer live together.

Yet, despite all the challenges, pressures, stress, and physical breakdowns, I still love what I do.

As my emotional state has been a struggle for a few years now, my companies and our community space have been deeply affected. There are vendors who still need to be paid for their amazing work, and my gracious staff is needing their payroll. I need to get current with utilities and services, order more needed product, and support our community space’s overhead. This fundraiser would allow me to remove high-interest emergency loans and stop the financial bleed. I haven’t taken payroll myself in months and this will allow me to bring income in again to pay my bills at home.

It fills my heart to care for others, to be with my community, to smile, hug, cry, and laugh with people, offering opportunities and excitement. When the idea of Bee Well came to me, I was overwhelmed with excitement and joy—a feeling I hadn’t experienced in so long. Serving people, creating welcoming spaces, and normalizing life’s big moments is what I truly love.

I have rebuilt Wool & Honey from the ashes before and I can do that again. I have created a community space for healing when I was still in my own pain. I am a determined, resilient and creative gal when it comes to what I'm passionate about. There are new and exciting things around the corner and I am needing to get past the financial bandaid these traumas created. And it is possible.

I will be adding information here soon that includes fundraising programs, specific needs and share detailed plans how these funds will be used.

If you’re able to support us—whether by donating, sharing, or simply sending encouragement—I am deeply grateful. Your kindness will help us rebuild, support our team, and keep our community space alive. Thank you for being part of our journey and for bringing hope and joy back into our lives.
