Help Us Free Indebted Burundian Patients

Hello everyone,

First, I want to sincerely thank you for your help with the last two fundraisers. In January 2019 we raised $1800 to free indebted Burundian patients, then in July 2019, we raised almost $5400!

You may remember the video below about the July 2019 trip. During that trip, I was able to travel to two hospitals and get all of the patients on the list released using the funds you all supplied. Sadly, several of the patients were deceased children whose lifeless bodies were held hostage by the hospital. This in turn held the parents of these children hostage, since their parents did not desire to return home without giving their children a proper burial. We were able to not only pay the hospital bills of these grief-stricken parents, but also give them additional funding because many of them had already sold everything they could to pay down the bills. One mother had literally sold the roof off of her home to pay part of the hospital bill.

Your money helped so many, and I have prayed that God will continue to bless each of you who were able to give. I plan to return to Burundi in the first week of December 2022 and request your assistance to help more trapped patients. Some have been in the hospital for several months, some for a year, and others have been there since before the pandemic. Some of these patients have returned to full health since being in the hospital but cannot leave due to unpaid hospital bills. With your assistance, we will be able to help some of these people start the new year back in their own homes instead of inside the hospital walls.

Please give as you are able; no amount is too small! While some patients have large bills, others only need as little as $10, $20, or $30 US dollars to get out of the hospital. Thank you, and may the Lord bless your generosity.
