Hello, as most of you know, we have been helping a family member with Rowen’s medical needs. We have had the baby permanently in our care since September. Unfortunately, the state will not allow us to become his foster parents, as his case was not deemed urgent enough. Due to certain circumstances, his biological mother is unable to resume his care and has made the incredibly selfless decision to allow us to adopt Rowen. It is truly an honor to be trusted to this extent with someone’s child.

That being said, we are starting this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of hiring a lawyer and paying the necessary court fees for the adoption. Any amount, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated. While we were not expecting to be on this journey, we want to do everything in our power to ensure that Rowen is legally protected and secure in our care.
