Hi, my name is Bill. I am doing this fundraiser to help my family who was hit by the recent typhoon in Cebu.

My uncle, who is originally from Cebu, moved to Mindanao during the pandemic to take care of his aging mother (my grandmother). After my grandmother passed away, he left Mindanao in order to accompany and dedicate his time to take care of my nephew who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. My nephew's father, who is my first cousin, died from cancer 9 years ago.

A few days ago, a strong typhoon hit my uncle's house in Cebu and it got partially destroyed. Rooms were completely flooded and unusable, clothes and cooking instruments were washed away by the flood. Right now, he and my nephews are staying on our relative's place while they are cleaning up the flooded house.
