Help Umang knock Cancer

Our dear friend Umanga Shrestha of Mount Prospect, IL, was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer last year in February 2019. For the past 12 months, Umanga and his family have been bravely fighting this battle with little improvement. He has gone through open surgery and is currently going through Chemotherapy.
But last Saturday things changed suddenly, his body temperature spiked up to 107 with Blood Pressure dropping down to 70/50 and very low Hemoglobin. He was rushed into ICU by paramedics to a nearby hospital in Glenview, IL, and his condition remains critical.
Since February of 2019 Umanga has spent multiple nights in the hospital and has not been to work since then. His wife Sushma has supported the family financially and emotionally along with taking care of their 7-year-old daughter, Grace.
The family has been planning to take him to Memorial Sloan Cancer Center Hospital in New York for further treatment.
Umanga is determined to beat this cancer and be there to raise his daughter. We believe in his strength and ability to do this, despite of the odds. A small contribution to this page not only provides tangible help but exemplifies your faith in Umanga and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
