Hi everyone, this is a go fund me to help support Tom Weisner and his family during this very unjust time. He was held in contempt of court based on his religious beliefs. Essentially, the judge determined his religious belief was made up and not valid.
This kind of discrimination of faith, is exactly what is breaking down our civil liberties, one court ruling at a time. How can a judge decide what constitutes a condition of our religious faith? Is that not a constitutional right under the first amendment? That exercising your right to express freedom of religion and the prohibition of government from establishing a religion should be protected.
Then after this egregious act of tierney against an upstanding officer of the law, this despicable and appalling Judge sentenced Tom to 10 days in jail. Does the crime fit the punishment? Absolutely not.
During this Christmas and New Year please help step up and support Tom and his family fight this injustice. He has been stripped from his family and wrongly put in jail during this holiday. A time when he should be home with his children. Your contribution will help provide financial support to his family while he is without pay as well as help cover legal costs.
