Help to evacuate Fady and his family from the Gaza war

I'm Ali from the UK. I initiated this fundraising campaign on behalf of my friend Fadi. Fadi Al-Shawa, aged 36, married with three children.

He is reaching out to you in a time of profound urgency and desperation. He is seeking your assistance to raise funds for the emergency evacuation of him and his family from Gaza with this GoFundMe page. We aim to raise this amount with your help and generosity. The funds will be utilized for border crossing fees, transportation, temporary accommodation, and other essential expenses associated with ensuring their safety during this challenging time. There beloved family in Gaza has been ravaged by the relentless violence of the Israel-Gaza war.

Until October 7, his life was filled with happiness, love, and aspirations. He cherished mornings spent driving his daughter Rose to school, followed by breakfast with his wife, and delving into graphic design and marketing plans at work. Evenings were spent with friends at Gaza beach cafes or overseeing construction at his newly acquired home.

However, everything changed after October 7. The bombing of his business cost him alot. Subsequently, his new home, which he had yet to inhabit, was also destroyed. Working tirelessly to rebuild his life, even his house and car fell victim to bombings. He lost alot of his relatives and friends to the violence, leaving him with a profound sense of loss and a desperate desire to reclaim even a fraction of what was taken from him.

The suffering doesn't end there. In February, tragedy struck again as he lost his mom. She was hit by shrapnel and continued to bleed to death before his eyes. They remained stuck with her body 13 days until the soldiers withdrew from the neighborhood and they were able to escape after burying her in the courtyard of the house.

His heart cannot accommodate more sorrows. He wants to escape with the rest of his family to safety.

We have come together to launch this fundraiser with one goal in mind: to evacuate fady and his family from the horrors of war and provide them with the safety and security they desperately need. Your generous contributions will go directly towards securing transportation out of Gaza, temporary shelter, essential supplies, and medical care for those injured and traumatized by the violence.

The money raised will be used to pay Egyptian Authorities to let them out of Gaza which has been the only system for evacuating Palestinians from Gaza (5000$ per adult and 2500$ per child)..
