Help this brave Ukrainian family

Hi there. If you've been following the trip online, you'll know that they made it to Krakow, delivered the medical supplies and met our lovely family to bring back to Barcelona. Thank you so much for all your kind words and encouragement; it really lifted everyone's spirits.

Angela is a brave mother who has fled Ukraine for Barcelona with her four children, Emma, Marc, Evelyn and Daniel. They travelled across the country with as much as they could carry and crossed the border into Poland. Their father stayed behind and is fighting in Kyiv.

They will be supported in Barcelona by the local NGO Sonrisas Barcelona (Barcelona Smiles!), who are stretched to the limit caring for many families like Angela.

Rory, Steven, Brian and Marta (Team Sonrisas) helped them get back. Yet the long journey is just starting. One of their immediate needs is an operation for Angela’s youngest son, Daniel, who uses a wheelchair. Unfortunately, his much-needed operation ( his 6th so far) to help him walk again was cancelled in Kyiv due to the invasion.

We will be helping them get settled in their new home, but if you’d like to help in any way, the team will ensure it makes a difference. All money raised will go directly to the family and the local charity that is housing and caring for many more families. Thank you so much x
