The Welsh American Heritage Museum in Oak Hill, Ohio has been incredibly fortunate to receive state funding to undertake not only long-needed structural repairs, but also important refurbishments that restore some of the building’s original historic features. With these improvements nearly complete, we are excited to prepare for our reopening—but we still need support from our community to take the next steps.

As we upgrade our storage areas, collections care, and museum activities, there are several items we must purchase that fall outside the scope of state funding. Thanks to generous public donations, we have already acquired new equipment to digitize our collection, and that work is well underway. Your continued support will help us purchase archival storage materials, exhibition supplies, and other tools that allow us to professionally preserve and share the Welsh-American story.

Every contribution—large or small—brings us closer to reopening our doors with a stronger, more accessible, and better-cared-for collection. Diolch yn fawr for supporting the preservation of our shared heritage!
