Help the Sherrod Family Heal After Tragic Accident

Steven and Melissa Sherrod were in a head-on collision on August 10, 2024, and they need our help!

They were on their way home late at night when another car from opposing traffic veered into their lane and hit them head-on. Steven ended up in ICU with several serious injuries, and Melissa had to have emergency surgery on her foot, which has been shattered. She will have to learn to walk again. Both Steven and Melissa have back fractures and will be required to wear back braces for three months or longer. Steven has a broken rib and sternum and has been moved out of ICU and is in a regular hospital room. Thankfully, they were able to put Melissa and Steven in the same room. Melissa hit the steering wheel and was knocked out and will need to recover from a concussion. She has staples in her arm and is going to need some dental work as well. Melissa’s Suburban was completely totalled, but thank God, it saved their lives. Had they been in a smaller car, they may not have made it.

Melissa owns her own cleaning company and is fantastic at what she does… But unfortunately, when you own your own company, you do not have the luxury of receiving disability. They have 4 children at home and will need financial assistance for at least the next 3 months.
