Help Us Recover from a Devastating Moving Scam
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted neighbors,
On March 26, 2025, our lives were turned upside down. We hired a company called All About Moving and Storage based in Largo, Florida, to help move our belongings into our new home. What started as a routine move quickly turned into a nightmare!!!!
That day, the movers loaded nearly 95% of our entire household — including our washer and dryer, beds, couches, dressers, chairs, love seats, all my husband's work supplies and equipment, all our daughter’s entire bedroom set and entire wardrobe, all of our bedroom furniture, including king size matress, headboard, dressers, curtains for entire house, kitchen items, clothing, all my husband's shoes and wedding ring, curtains, essential prescription medications, vitamins, my clothes, my jewelry, skincare, fragrances and even our refrigerator and all of our family photos.
After the truck was packed, things took a shocking turn.
The company’s movers told us that the truck was full because the movers had packed it poorly. When we raised concerns, the owner became extremely unprofessional and verbally abusive. After that call ended, the movers drove off with everything we owned — and they never came back.
Despite being scheduled in accord with their agreement to deliver our belongings the next day, they never showed up. Instead, the next day they demanded 3X more money to be paid on a cash app, far beyond the original agreement, and are essentially holding all our property hostage. We never refused to pay what was agreed upon, but we never agreed to the surprise price increase and cash app demands they later imposed.
As of today, we are still without furniture, clothes, work tools, medical necessities, and so much more. We are sleeping on air mattresses and trying to function without the basic items every family needs to live, work, and feel safe in their own home.
We are pursuing legal action, but the road to justice takes time—and right now, we urgently need help to replace critical items and rebuild what was taken from us.
We estimate the value of the stolen property to be $35,000, including essential tools, irreplaceable personal belongings, and medical supplies.
If you feel moved to help us, ANY donation—no matter the amount—will make a difference. Your support means more than you know.
Thank you for helping us restore stability, dignity, and hope during this painful time.
With love and great gratitude,
Gregory, Tonya, and Jazmin Payne
