On December 20th, around 6:30 AM,  there was a  fire in Marlboro, NJ  which extensively damaged our colleague's home.  Lori, a Special Education Science teacher at Freehold High School, and her husband are unharmed but the damage to their home is irreplaceable.  We wanted to set  up this fundraiser to support her family. Every little bit helps. 

UPDATE:
I spoke to Lori today. The fire started on the deck next door and jumped to her house within seconds. Her kitchen is gone, as well as the master bedroom, and everything in the garage (including her car). The entire house has smoke and water damage.
