Help the Medical Museum

Now that I am retired and have more time to devote the community, I have been working with a local medical museum in Philadelphia whose mission includes enhancing public education. Every year we host tens of thousands kids from the local schools who come to learn about health and medicine.

Over the years, we have received countless donations of instruments and medical equipment dating back at least two centuries. Trying to identify all of this stuff and to describe how it was used is a real challenge, and that's where I come in. My jobs is to figure all of that out so that we can share it with the public, and especially the children.

I have located a collection of old medical catalogues that will help me do that. But it is expensive and the museum has a very limited budget. I have decided to reach out to all of you in the hope that you can help us and help the community.

And if I can exceed my goal, the funds will be used to support the additional needs of the museum.
