When the Stillwater wildfires raged through my sister's community yesterday, the Maxwell-Moranz family lost everything except what matters most, their lives. Their home of many years and all of their possessions were completely destroyed in minutes.

Dr. Lara Maxwell isn't just a veterinary pharmacology professor at OSU. She's the teacher who stays late helping students, the neighbor who takes in strays during storms, and the community volunteer who never says no. Her husband Dr. Moranz has worked alongside our local farmers and ranchers. For decades, they have been strengthening the backbone of their community.

Now, this sister and her family, who has given so much needs us. They escaped with only the clothes on their backs. No family photos. No family heirlooms. No home. Your donation today provides:

    •    Immediate temporary housing

    •    Essential clothing and personal items

    •    First steps toward rebuilding their lives

This family has helped countless members of our community. Today, we have the chance to help them. Please donate now and share this page. Every dollar makes a difference for this beloved Stillwater family when they need it most.
