Help the Lubrano Family in Their Fight Against Cancer

Kristen Lubrano mother of two children, and wife of 20 years to Jose Lubrano of Tampa Fire Rescue. During their marriage Kristen’s support to her husband, community, and especially children has been unwavering.

In February 2024, Kristen Lubrano went to the doctor for severe lower abdominal pain, only weeks later on March 5th, she would be diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. In the last two months she has been going to doctor appointments at Moffitt clinic to learn her options.

Kristen will not be able to do her treatments at Moffitt and will need to travel outside of Tampa to receive the care she needs. We are asking for your help in supporting the Lubrano family as they begin to endure the many treatments, medical expenses, travel expenses, and the costs that their family will endure during the treatment process of her cancer. The cost is the treatment alone is $100,000 for her cancer.

Jose, Kristen, their two children, and her parents have been wonderful volunteers to Walking with Warriors since our launch in 2018 and always willing to encourage their fellow firefighters, police, and military through our organization, his days of work, and many others through their church.
