Unfortunately,  Mike is back at Mass General Hospital with a severe reaction to his current chemo therapy medication.   He will be admitted for at least another week, if not longer depending on how fast they can turn his immune system around.  Mike also will no longer be included in the current trial due to his weakened immune response.  For those of you that don’t know about Mike’s story, he was first diagnosed in December of 2014 with stage 4 non-hodgkin lymphoma.  In the past 5 years he has been ongoing this awful disease and going through all kinds of different treatments.  This has been extremely  exhausting and difficult  for the Longo family.   Mike and Leslie will be discussing further options with the Oncologist once his body calms down with proper treatment.  Mike has been out of work now for over 2 weeks with being in and out of the hospital during that time.   Mike recently started a new job and has run out of sick time due to using it for his treatments and visits to MGH.   Many of you also know Leslie and Mike provide for their 3 young beautiful children.  Leslie only works a part-time job so she can take care of her kids, with leaving Mike being the sole provider for his family.  Medical bills, groceries, and everything else adds up very quickly.  Please share with your family and friends.   Any donation would be extremely appreciated, however if you cannot make a donation please just keep this family in your prayers.  May God bless the Longo family.  Keep fighting my friend!♥️
