Help Our Family Find a Home

Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but also hope for a fresh start. My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, our two dogs, and I are currently without a home. We are safe for now, but the last few weeks have been incredibly difficult, and we need help to get back on our feet.

Here’s what we’ve been through:

• We lost $3,500 to a rental scam that completely wiped out our savings.

• Since then, we’ve spent over $2,500 on hotels just to keep a roof over our heads.

• We’ve spent more than $200 on application fees while searching for a new rental.

• And at least $150 has gone toward fast food because without a kitchen we can’t cook real meals.

Every dollar spent just to survive has pushed us further away from securing a new home. We are running low on funds, and without help, we won’t be able to set aside what’s needed for a deposit when the right rental finally comes along.

We are asking for support—whether it’s a donation, a share of this fundraiser, or even just words of encouragement. Every bit of kindness gets us one step closer to stability and to giving our daughter and dogs the home they deserve again.
