Help The Family With Donovan's Medical Bills

My 12 year old grandson Donovan was diagnosed with pneumococcal meningitis and was hospitalized at Children's Hospital in the PICU for 9 days over Christmas break. One quite serious manifestation of the meningitis was a blood clot that formed in his brain. He was put into an induced coma for 6 of those days. The fight for his life required the expertise of TCH doctors, specialists, and myriad support staff.  Equally important was the outpouring of prayers and love from many, many amazing people. 

After being released from the hospital he is requiring an in-home care nurse, IV antibiotics, daily injections of blood thinners, repeat MRI's, physical and speech therapy, and follow up visits to infectious disease and thrombosis specialists. 

My daughter's family has health insurance, but have a large deductible and a large out of pocket max.  This Make A Deal Fundraiser is raising money to help ease the burden of the medical bills that are starting to come in.
