Help the Children of the Shawi People of Peru

Hi family, I received the following message today from a dear sister so I am creating this GoFund Me to raise the $5k needed for medical supplies and more doctors.
Anything you can offer helps and all donations will go directly to the director of The Shawi Project (www.theshawiproject.com) Eda Zavala to be distributed. She is working on an overview expense sheet to share with us and we will include it here when we receive it.

Saturday night Dr Sandoval just called. She said after five days working in Shawi villages her medical diagnostic was reserved. She has found Covid19 and Dengue in several villages.
Because the symptoms of high fever, diarrhea, puke plus flu and bronchitis she is very aware of the new brazilian strain of virus and she said probably this one already arrived at Yurimaguas. She urges a quick medical intervention in order to prevent any other potential risk among Indigenous People, mainly affecting children. Dr Sandoval really wants to help them and treat Shawi children right away.
Eda, needs help setting up a gofund me campaign to receive Paypal donations but needs a US ally or ngo. Her goal is to raise up to $5K to buy medical tests and supplies, more medicine and doctor's per diem to treat children properly. The "hot spots" are Nuevo Nauta (where our three beloved children died recently) Pizana, San Martin, Nueva Alianza and eventually Ponderosa villages."
