Help the Allbee Family Through This Tough Time

The last 2.5 years have been the hardest our family has had to go through. For those who may not know, Steve was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in June of 2022. It has been anything but an easy journey for him. Steve has tried numerous different chemo treatments and has been hospitalized 3 times just this year alone. We were about to start the last chemo treatment that his oncologist had to try, but now his oncologist wants to go back and try the first chemo treatment Steve did from June 2022 through November 2022. We stopped this because his neuropathy got too bad. We will be going back to this treatment and push it until the neuropathy may be too much for Steve.
The last 4 weeks or so, we had many very difficult discussions with his oncologist. All just as serious as the last. We were referred to the U of M and Mayo to see if he qualifies for any clinical trials because all chemo treatments Steve's body is not responding to anymore. The U of M said he doesn't qualify because his liver enzymes are too high. We have an appointment with Mayo on December 17th. Steve has developed jaundice and a lot of stomach pains along with a lot of tiredness and weakness.
His latest hospital stay, we were told to start considering hospice care. We knew this was coming because the chemo has not been working for some time. Today, 11/25/24, Steve's oncologist gave Steve an approximate life frame of life left. The time frame is short and we are devastated and beyond heartbroken.
This GoFundMe was created to help the Allbee's with the cost of medical bills that have accumulated over the last few years, cost of gas to drive to Mayo, and the numerous trips to the cancer center that they take. This could also help Steve and Stacey provide a very special Christmas for their girls, Audrina (12) and Skylar (5). This will most likely be Steve's last Christmas with Stacey and his girls.
We also want to thank everyone who has given us so much love and support and helped through these extremely hard times.
Any help is greatly appreciated! If you are more comfortable helping by sending money directly to the Allbee's, you could Venmo Stacey. Her username is @stacroseallbee.
