Help teen mom with her living situation

Hey y’all, my name is Jenessa and I’m raising money for a sweet girl named Crystel. Me and my husband met her at a restaurant (she was our server) about 6 months ago. It was definitely a God set up and she’s now become like a little sister to me. Crystel is a young 17 year old who decided to keep her baby boy. She has been part of CPS since she was 13 years old and has been brave for a long time. For most of her life she’s has to take care of her self (and others in addiction) and since having her little boy on august 16th, she is now needing others to help take care of her. She has such a beautiful heart and love for Jesus. Because of her upbringing she doesn’t have any support with her new baby. I’ve been working with people to help volunteer time and recourses and that’s been so helpful!

right now, Crystel’s biggest need is housing. She doesn’t have a lot of savings, but needs help to cover a couple months rent as well as basic needs for her and baby. Once she turns 18, she will be able to apply for a non profit organization for incredibly affordable rent, however there’s no real guarantee she can get in.

Crystel has experienced a lot of instability her whole life and my greatest desire is that people can come together and give this young girl stability in a time where she needs it most.

I would ask that you prayerfully consider helping her cover at these next few months of rent and groceries. Rather than set up a meal train, I knew this would be a much bigger help. This would be massive for her and her new baby
