Why Miss New Jersey USA?
To have a larger platform to achieve state-wide STEM development programs for urban and rural communities of all races, ages, and genders which would result in New Jersey having the most competitive STEM workforce in the country. Since 2018 I knew there was a huge demand for more talented STEM professionals to address our country's most critical attacks such as the Russian Grid hack which infiltrated our power companies in 2018. Over the next 10 years, STEM jobs are projected to grow by over 8% in New Jersey – nearly double the growth expected for any other career. As Miss New Jersey USA I would be able to achieve my goal of reaching millions of young men and women to pursue STEM careers.
