Help Tanaz rebuild after fire loss

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers, our home was tragically destroyed in the pacific palisades fire, leaving my family and me with nothing but the clothes on our backs. I’m so grateful that my mom, sisters, stepdad, and our beloved dogs are safe, but the loss of our home and everything inside has been devastating.

I’m in my second year of a master’s program in Chinese medicine, and as an avid reader and collector of antique books, I’d been dreaming of building my own library. That dream, along with hundreds of books—including my study textbooks—was lost in the fire.

We’re now starting from scratch. All of our clothes, toiletries, and daily necessities are gone. Even harder to accept is the loss of irreplaceable items like baby photos, family heirlooms, and the memories that made our house a home.

We’re reaching out for help to rebuild our lives. Donations will go toward essentials like clothing, toiletries, school supplies, and care for our pets, as well as long-term efforts to create a new home. If you’re unable to donate, sharing our story would mean so much to us.
