Help Suzanne Rebuild After Fire Tragedy

Hi, My name is Adrienne Lamanno, and I am writing on behalf of my sister, Suzanne Donato. As most of you are aware there was a fire in Bayonne, NJ on Monday, May 13th that devastated several families, My sister being one of them. The house next door engulfed in flames and subsequently my sister's house caught on fire.

My sister was evacuated with only the clothes on her back. Her house is uninhabitable and all of her belongings destroyed. She is now homeless.

My sister rented that apartment with my brother-in-law for 25 years. They lived a simple, carefree life. If I had to use a word to describe her lifestyle it would be modest. Things that mattered the most to her were not material things, It was the idea of coming home after work, having dinner and playing cards or a board game with my brother-in-law. Suzie takes great pleasure in helping and doing things for others. My sister has always worked in Bayonne, in a job where she served and assisted other people. Those of you who know her are probably shaking your head yes, as you read this.

Her life was turned upside down two years ago, where she came home from work to find my brother-in-law passed. She has still been grieving that loss, and now has to deal with finding an affordable apartment, and rebuilding from zero.

I am humbly asking my friends, colleagues for any type of donation , knowing that times are tough for everyone. We appreciate anything you could donate, every penny counts.

The goal is to be able to find an affordable apartment, in Bayonne where she works ( she does not drive) and start rebuilding.
