On Sunday, September 7th, Luis was unexpectedly detained outside a local bakery, Casa Blanca. According to his employer, he had parked a couple of spots away from the bakery and went inside briefly to grab a coffee. When he returned to his car, agents who had been waiting nearby approached him. While it is unclear what was said, Luis was taken into custody immediately.

Bystanders have claimed to see the agents park right next to Luis' car and deliberately waited for him to come out.

Luis is a hardworking man who has always shown dedication to his job and to those around him. He is also a loving father to two daughters — a 1-year-old and a 10-year-old — who need him home. This sudden detention has left his family and community deeply worried, and they now face financial and emotional hardship.
