Hello, my name is Serenity and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my father. On February 3 of this year, my dad was involved in a motorcycle and vehicle accident. My dad has always been a strong and resilient man; he is everyone’s biggest supporter and everyone’s first call when in need. He has always been this kind of person and I know even in these hard times he will continue to be. This makes my dad’s job in the medical field so much more fitting. My dad has been a paramedic for more than 10 years and recently gained a new badge on his sleeve as a flight medic, so you can only imagine how he must be feeling to be on the opposite side of the hospital bed. One thing I also know about my dad is the gym is his most loyal best friend and I think the gym feels the same way too. My dad’s health has always been his top priority, which is what makes the conditions even more heart-aching. My dad's accident occurred on a nice breezy day; the weather was perfect riding weather as my dad liked to say. While making his way to the gym on his motorcycle, my dad was struck by a vehicle cutting across two-way traffic, tragically striking him, which caused him to slide under his bike and onto the middle of the road. While my dad did obtain multiple injuries due to the impact of his collision with the car, I sadly say my dad lost his left foot in this accident and will now live a new chapter in life with this obstacle to overcome. I am asking for your guys' support as my dad and our family take on this challenge. I know this is going to be one of the hardest battles my dad will have faced in his life, but I know that it will not limit him. He is my SUPER MAN, and i know limitations is not a word in his vocabulary.
