Help Malak and Her Family Survive and Rebuild After War
My name is Malak. I am a mother of two young daughters, trying to protect my family and survive the devastating war in Gaza.
Before the war, life was simple and full of hope. I worked as an English teacher, and my husband worked to support our family. We had a small home and big dreams for our daughters’ future.
But everything changed in an instant when our home was destroyed during the war. We survived, but we lost our safety, our jobs, and our only source of income.
Since then, we have been living through fear, displacement, and severe hardship. Schools have shut down, work has disappeared, and we struggle daily to provide food, safety, and basic needs for our children. Like many families, we are trapped with no stable income and no secure place to rebuild our lives.
I am asking for your help — not for luxury, but simply to survive and give my children a chance at safety and dignity.
Your support will help us secure basic needs, rebuild our lives, and create hope for a better future for my daughters.
Every donation, share, or kind word means more than you can imagine.
Thank you for standing with us in this dark time.
On 1/11/2024, our home was bombed while we were inside, feeling safe in our own house. We survived by a miracle. In the same attack, my husband’s brother, his wife, and their children were martyred. It was one of the most painful days of our lives, and the trauma is still with us every day.
After that, we were displaced and forced to leave our home. We lived in a tent for a period of time under very harsh conditions. There was a severe lack of clean water and basic hygiene, and my daughters became sick because of the environment and the cold. As a mother, it broke my heart to see them suffer while I felt helpless.
We are still trying to rebuild our lives and find some stability and safety.
