Hi I'm Olivia and Luna is my beautiful Bull Arab x Boxer and undoubtedly my best friend - a brief overview of this funderaiser is that I'm raising funds to help cover the cost of Luna's urgent lung surgery. I'm reaching out through GoFundMe for the first time because of this sudden need for assistance.

Luna was recently admitted to an emergency vet centre with her second case of pneumonia in 4 months, during treatment a single mass (suspected cancer) was discovered in her lung from an xray, it is suspected that the mass is contributing to her reoccuring pneumonia diagnosis. A tissue sample was unable to be obtained due to location of the mass. I have considered all available information concerning Luna's health, quality of life and the surgery from her regular vet and specialists - and have decided to proceed with a lungectomy to remove the mass and have a biopsy run on it, as the outcome is expected to be highly positive in nature. All donations will help cover costs for Luna's CT scan, surgery and post operative treatments. Updates will be provided of her journey.

Its been a sudden diagnosis and I am struggling to consider not having my best bud and 30kg lap dog around. I always give my all for her and this isn't going to stop me from continuing to do so now.

I fell in love with Luna the moment I saw her 13 week old puppy face on a local pet rescue page. Luna is the sweetest girl who can be friends with any animal and loves humans. Supportive is an understatement of what Luna is, when you come home, she has the biggest bum wiggles and brings you her toy to welcome you in. If you need cheering up - Luna is your girl, she will lay beside you and have you pat her until you feel better (or just keep patting no matter how you feel, she doesn't mind). Now it's my turn to return all her unconditional love by supporting her through this surgery.
