Help Support George & Christine Forsyth Towards George’s Ongoing Medical Care

George Forsyth was diagnosed 17 years ago with Parkinson’s Disease.

Despite living with this life-changing condition, George continued to devote his time and love to the two things that mean the most to him: his family and helping others around him.

Football has also been a huge part of his life. Since he was around 8 years old, St. Joseph’s Boys and Girls Club Sallynoggin (Joeys) has been his second home. Over the years, he has played many roles in football: player, coach, manager, fundraiser, administrator, and “go-to” person.

George’s commitment to his community extends beyond football. He has been a mentor to countless young athletes, instilling in them the values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. His efforts have not only shaped the lives of many young players but have also strengthened the community spirit.

Recently, George’s health has deteriorated. He has undergone major back surgery and spent many months in various hospitals. He is now unable to stand or walk.

We, as a group of friends and past football players from a team that George trained, want to do as much as we can to support him in his challenge.

George now requires around-the-clock care and attention. Please help us support the financial costs and large expenses for his care.
