My bonus dad, Fred, was recently diagnosed Stage 3 squamous cell colorectal cancer. Since May, he has been unable to work, and with months of treatment still ahead, it will likely be a few more months before he is able to return full-time. The cost of medications, appointments, and everyday expenses has quickly become overwhelming.

Fred has always been someone who shows up for others — a good friend, a helping hand, and a source of support to many. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.
