Update: I just wanted to take a few minutes to say thank to everyone who has donated and prayed for my Bro! I also wanted to let everyone know that Buck is done with radiation/chemo and doing well. He is on a break for the month and they will be redoing his scans in november sometime. He will be starting his second round of chemo in December. After he has completed that I believe they will re-scan again and then schedule surgery. They are still taking donations to help with medical bills, etc. And prayers are always appreciated.  

update: Bucky is still continuing with his treatments and taking it one day at a time.

Hi, my name is Jodi and I am fundraising on behalf of my brother, Brad (Buck or Bucky, to those who know him) and my sister in law, Chris. Buck and Chris have played an active role in the community for many years supporting Tecumseh Schools and the Indiana Tech Warriors with their children, Dani & Justin and Devin & Allie.

Recently, my brother Buck was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer and is undergoing daily treatment. He has already had 2 surgeries. Since then their life has been turned upside down as they had to put their family dog (Casey) down due to cancer. This especially was not something they were prepared for with everything else that is going on.

Bucky will undergo months of treatment, before another huge surgery to remove the tumor. Due to how Buck is feeling it has been impossible for him to work. Chris has taken on the role of caregiver and will need to continue to do so going forward. This is extremely overwhelming on both of them and their kiddos.

The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. Their medical bills are already building up, travel to and from treatments is costly, and day-to-day expenses are piling up. My Brother and Sister-In-Law never ask for help, but cancer doesn’t just attack the body — it affects every part of life.
