Help Support Bailey & Paris During This Tough Time

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

We’re fundraising for Bailey (“Nugget”) and Paris after a devastating accident over the weekend.

On Saturday, Nugget suffered a serious football injury that left him with a broken pelvis. He’s still in hospital awaiting surgery and has a long recovery ahead.

Nugget is the sole provider for his young family. Just 10 weeks ago, he and Paris welcomed their beautiful daughter, Zaylee, and they also have their energetic 2 year old son, Kayce.

As a shearer, Nugget has always worked incredibly hard, spending long periods away from home to support his family. Now, with months of recovery ahead and no ability to work, we want to ease the financial pressure so they can focus on his healing and caring for their little ones.

Every contribution, big or small, will help with everyday expenses, medical costs, and keeping life as stable as possible for Bailey, Paris, Zaylee, and Kayce during this challenging time.

Let’s rally behind them and show our support for a family that would do anything for their community.

Thank you for your kindness ❤️

UPDATE FROM PARISH / BAILEY:

I’ve been thinking of what I can say for a week now. I dont even know how to put into words how grateful we are to be surrounded by such amazing people. To have this kind of support is surreal. Whether you’ve donated, cooked us meals or even just sent a message checking in we see you all and can’t thank you all enough for being there for us all during this time. Bailey had surgery on Friday at Royal Melbourne hospital which involved the surgeons making an incision in his femur so they could dislocate his hip again, multiple plates and 11 screws to fix his broken pelvis as well as another fracture they found once they were in there. Recovery will be 3 months on crutches, The first 6 weeks only touch weight bearing then the next 6 weeks will be at 50% and hopefully get to full weight from that. A huge recovery ahead for him and hopefully one day he will get back to his love of shearing. And again I just want to thank you all so so so so much for everything
