Help Sultra's Vegan Kitchen Reopen Vegan Eatery

Sultra’s Vegan Kitchen has recently purchased vegan café, Flora Kitchenette. Sultra’s Vegan Kitchen was launched in the spring of 2020 by Nancy “Sultra” and her partner Jeremy “Wize.” Sultra and her family linked up with local non-profit New Roots Inc. to include farm fresh local and regional produce in their dishes. The reception was overwhelmingly positive and inspired Sultra and Wize to look for creative ways to expand their reach and serve more of their local community.
During this process SVK came to discover that a neighborhood vegan café would be closing their doors for good. Sultra and her family had special connection to Flora Kitchenette due to the fact it was her daughter, Kenna’s first job. Sultra and her family also enjoyed breakfast and coffee on many occasions at the café. As a result, SVK and team have been working hard to explore ways to keep the establishment open.
Through hard work and imagination, Sultra’s Vegan Kitchen has made this dream a reality and purchased Flora Kitchenette! Now comes the fun part! SVK needs help from our loving community to raise funds for start-up cost, which include inventory, hiring staff, permits and other miscellaneous start-up cost.
Sultra’s Vegan Kitchen is so very excited to bring you more gourmet vegan food with a breakfast/brunch twist. Sultra and the team look forward to cementing Flora Kitchenette as a community staple that will provide a safe and inclusive place for friends old and new to enjoy breakfast, brunch and coffee. SVK will still provide some of your favorites from last season as grab and go options.
With the community’s help, Flora Kitchenette looks to re-open under new ownership in the spring 2021. Thanks in advance for all of your likes, shares, donations and encouragement throughout this process.
