About two years ago, I began experiencing severe health issues—lethargy, radiating pain, migraines, sensitivity to light, and muscle weakness that sometimes makes it hard to even brush my teeth or shower. Despite many tests, there are still no clear answers, but I’m hopeful we’re finally on the right track. On top of this, a house fire a year and a half ago left me still trying to recover, and a year ago I lost my aunt, whom I cared for until her passing. I had to quit my job to look after her, and now I have no family left.

The past couple of years have been incredibly challenging, both physically and emotionally. I’m reaching out for help so I can afford my medications and basic needs as I work to regain my health and stability. I want nothing more than to get back on my feet, not just for myself, but so I can contribute to society and help others in need, just as I’m asking for help now.
