Help Stephane Get Home to his Family!
Don protégé

On August 1st, Stephane was in a hiking accident after work in Prince George, BC. He fell 170 ft from the top of the cut banks while hiking with a close friend. Since then Steph has been in an induced coma at the Hospital of Northern British Columbia. He is showing signs of brain damage, and is currently on a respirator, and in need of continuous hospital care.
We are lucky his two sisters Maryse and Isabelle were able to take vacation time to fly across the county to be by his side for support. Even though he is not awake we know that he feels their presence. We are hoping everyone can help us with the cost of an Air Ambulance Transfer to Ontario so his daughters and extended family are able to be by his side to send positive vibes too. The hospital social worker estimates the cost at $50,000 but is unable to give us an exact amount for this at this time as it will depend on the condition he is in at that given moment. This cost seems like a lot now but getting him home to his 2 daughters Elise (4) and Emma (3) is priceless.
Any extra funds will go to Stephane to help him recover and ease his transition to recovery.
We are hoping for a full recovery and asking everyone to stay positive. Please help out if you can. Though he wont be able to thank you right now his family will really appreciate it. Stephane was a very strong man and if anyone can pull through this tragedy it will be him. He will want to thank you all himself for the help when he is ready.
Thank you all for the love and support
