What the funds are for?
Development of Uliumbiwa Kusudi “a Self worth, and self confidence program for children and young people through an awareness of self, personal gifts, and embracement of an understanding that we were created by purpose”. In swahili, Uliumbiwa Kusudi means “you were created by purpose”

My Story
I am Uswege Mwakapango, a transformative facilitator, and founder of Uliumbiwa Kusudi - a highly inclusive learning experience were self worth and confidence through an awareness of self, personal gifts and an understanding that we were created “by purpose” is embraced.
Reflecting upon my childhood as a child born in the bush, in a small village of Tanzania, raised by a single mum, and much like other kids who lost their parents at a very young age - struggled to survive with no dream that good life, and the sense of self worth, and wholeness is for all of us - I have created Uliumbiwa Kusudi.
Integrating my personal story from my childhood of poverty to founding Uliumbiwa Kusudi, changing thousands of life through RENEW an international nonprofit organization facilitated youth summits and workshops for thousands of young people across Tanzania, Australia and the US, and writing my first book now; Uliumbiwa Kusudi standout as a beacon of hope demonstrating how who we are is bigger than anything. That who we are is our purpose, and that if we can learn and master who we are - who we are will take us where our success come.
Why Uliumbiwa Kusudi?
I created Uliumbiwa Kusudi because I too wish myself there were people to help me get in touch with my true power when I was growing up.
I wish there were people to help me see value in myself when all I could see was poverty, insecurity, and hopelessness.
I created Uliumbiwa Kusudi because I believe now is the time to make some CHANGES in how self worth is defined.
I started Uliumbiwa Kusudi because bringing change in how people learn, grow and relate with themselves and one another by bringing “the aspect of self” into socialization has been in my commitment since the first consciousness of myself as being.
Now is the time to make a shift!
Be the one to redefine how the next generation is going to define their self worth and feel about themselves.
Be the one to end the circle where self worth, and confidence to act from within is lost into measuring ourselves from the abilities of others, material possession and the need to cope with the speed of fashion
