Help Shoals CASA: Empower Child Advocates

This month as part of Pay It Forward Friday, we're trying to raise $1000 for Shoals CASA to help with the incredible work they do in our communities for children. Shoals CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) is committed to promoting awareness of child abuse and neglect within the Shoals area and work diligently to provide trained volunteers to advocate for the best interest of children within the judicial system. CASA is the only volunteer organization that empowers everyday citizens as officers of the court. In an overburdened social welfare system, abused and neglected children often slip through the cracks among hundreds of current cases. Each volunteer cares for 1-2 cases at a time to ensure that each child is receiving the attention they deserve.
