Help Shayne Get a Life-Saving Seizure Dog

Hi, my name is Meredith, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend and co-worker, Rebekah Belien, and her amazing 15-year-old daughter, Shayne.

Rebekah and I have worked together at Reets Drying Academy for nearly 12 years. She’s not just a colleague, she’s family. Rebekah has been a pillar in the restoration industry, pouring into others with her kindness, knowledge, and unwavering support. Now, it’s our turn to support her.

Shayne has epilepsy, and in the past six months, her seizures have become more frequent and more dangerous. Watching her lose the everyday freedoms that most teens enjoy like going out with friends, learning to drive, and being independent has been heartbreaking.

And yet, Shayne remains one of the most caring, strong, and selfless young people I know. She volunteers regularly in our community and always puts others first. But right now, she needs us.

We’re raising funds to get Shayne a seizure response dog an incredible service animal trained to detect seizures, assist during episodes, and help keep her safe. This dog could be truly life changing, giving Shayne back the confidence and independence she deserves.
