Help Shawna Hector Heal & Give Her Hope

Hello Friends,

A good friend and person is in need of our help. In the middle of September Shawna became ill. She went to a Dr. who incorrectly diagnosed her. Twenty-four hours later she was in so much pain she had to wake her husband in the middle of the night to take her to the ER. Her appendix ruptured and led to an almost deadly case of peritonitis and MANY other complications. She was rushed to a higher-level trauma hospital and has been there for almost 3 weeks. She has had 2 surgeries and has a long road to recovery. Due to the severity of all this, she will be out of work until after Christmas.

Shawna works with the Special Needs Kiddos at Elm Grove Elementary and only gets 10 paid days off from work. She will be on leave for months. She will have to cover her health insurance, lost wages, and her husband's lost wages from needing to be at the hospital with Shawna.

Shawna is the mom of two great kids: Kenzie Hector is in 7th at Dahlstrom, and Sterling Hector is a freshman at Johnson and playing baseball.

Most importantly keep the Hector family in your prayers and secondly let's come together and help ease this burden. Collectively if we all give a little we can help cover the heavy financial burden they are facing.
