Three months ago I came to Canada, from India, a thousand miles away with so many hopes and dreams. And yesterday, I lost everything.

Yesterday, someone broke into my apartment and stole (among other things) my and my roommates' laptops. I'm an international graduate student. You can look that up on urbandictionary - it's frequently abbreviated to "broke". I'm a photographer, some of you might be familiar with my work on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/isnapstories/). We've lost 3000$ worth of stuff but our laptops are the most important possession. I keep everything on it - my art,  edits and my studies, basically my entire life - and I don't have the money to replace it. I've approached the police but they've said it's unlikely that they'll be able to recover any of our items. And Since I'm new to the city I am not insured.

That's why I'm reaching out to you. Please help me raise enough money to replace it.  It is my livelihood and a lot of my career is at stake.
