Sarita Devi, 30, is a mother of 5 children from Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India, and she has recently been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) – Stage 5. CKD is a condition where the kidneys are no longer able to clean toxins and waste product from the blood and perform their functions to full capacity.

She has been admitted to a hospital in Dehradun as her health continues to deteriorate. Her condition requires her to have dialysis several times a week for the rest of her life or until she can get a kidney transplant. Even after a transplant, Sarita will need to take antirejection mediation for the rest of her life.

Through this we aim to cover/ contribute to the cost of her kidney transplant, post treatment and lifelong medicines.
